Clermont forward, Peceli Yato is expected to make his comeback for the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians when they take on Japan this Saturday.

Yato who has been impressive for his club in the French Top 14 competition this season will surely make a strong statement as why he should be included in the final squad for the Rugby World Cup in September.

He is renowned for his high work rate and tenacious defence.

He also scored a try when Fiji defeated Scotland 27-22 in 2017 and was also part of the team that defeated France 21-14 last November.

Coach, John McKee says they would expect something special when Yato teams up with Racing 92 forward Leone Nakarawa in the forward pack.

McKee says every player in the team is vying for a spot in the final squad for the Rugby World Cup so this is an opportunity for these players to step up and show the selectors what they can do.

Yato missed the two test matches against the Maori All Blacks earlier this month and will surely bring thunder if he is selected for this week’s game.

Fiji will face Japan at 5.50pm this Saturday.
