A man who was charged with 2 counts of defilement has been sentenced to 2 years imprisonment by the Nausori Magistrates Court.
The victim was the cousin of the accused and the incident happened in a village in Naitasiri.
While sentencing the man Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne told the man that he breached the trust of the victim by committing these offences.
A non-parole period of one year has been set.
