A 26-year-old man who earlier admitted to raping, sexually assaulting and abducting a 13-year-old girl has informed the Suva High Court that he wants to change his plea.
Manasa Ratuloaloa through his lawyer Anil Chand told the court that he wants to change his guilty plea after receiving legal advice.
Ratuloaloa allegedly abducted, raped and sexually assaulted the 13-year-old girl in Nausori on 25th June last year.
He allegedly took the girl without her grandmother’s knowledge.
The case has been adjourned to 16th September, 2019.
