Minister for Economy and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says as of Monday, liquidity stood at $626.7 million.
He says this is more than double since last year.
Sayed-Khaiyum told parliament that he has been advised by the Reserve Bank of Fiji that liquidity may rise to $700 million by the end of this year.
He says this is more than sufficient to meet the credit needs in the economy.
