Defending Champions Manchester City are back within 5 points of Premier League leaders Liverpool after beating Everton 3-1 this morning.

Goals from Gabriel Jesus, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling helped City secure the much needed win.

Meanwhile, in an earlier match Liverpool maintained their hundred percent winning start in the Premier league with 1-0 win against Sheffield United.

In other matches Chelsea beat Brighton 2-0, Tottenham beat Southampton 2-1 while Wolverhampton defeated Watford 2-0.

Manchester United host rivals Arsenal at 7am this Tuesday.
