South Africa will take on England in the final of the Rugby World Cup next week after defeating Wales 19-16 in the semifinal.

Handre Pollard's boot was instrumental in their win kicking all four penalties to book their spot in the finals next Saturday.

Springboks second five, Damien de Allende scored their only try in the game.

South Africa led Wales 9-6 at halftime.

Wales Dan Biggar slot in three penalties while fullback, Leigh Halfpenny slot in one penalty and converted Josh Adam's try.

Pollard was also named Mastercard Player of the Match.

Wales will take on the All Blacks for the Bronze playoffs at 9pm Friday while South Africa will face England in the final at 9pm Saturday.
