Serious concerns are now being raised on the large number of students that are seen loitering around in Nausori Town during school hours.

Police are calling on parents and guardians to keep a watch on their children's whereabouts during school hours as some exams have finished.

Fijivillage has also witnessed school students leaving home for school and changing into other clothes in town.

Some students have been seen in billiard shops or bus riding during school hours.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says they can only send students in school uniform home if they are found in billiard shops or loitering around in town.

She says parents and guardians need to do their part.

We are currently trying to speak to the Ministry of Education as some parents are also raising the issue on interactive after exam activities not being organised by the schools.
