The case of police constables Benedito Bolabiu, Laisenia Ratuvabea and Lasaro Turagadrau who allegedly assaulted and poured hot water on a suspect last Monday has been transferred to the Suva High Court.
Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili says the case is an indictable offence therefore it is transferred to the High Court.
They are charged with one count each of act intended to cause grievous harm.
The three police officers allegedly unlawfully wounded the man by pouring hot water on his back and hitting his leg with a concrete block at Pacific Harbour Community Post.
Bolabiu, Ratuvabea and Turagadrau's bail has been extended.
The case will now be called on the 5th of December.
