The New Zealand Women’s 7s team has won the first-ever Women’s Cape Town 7s beating Australia 17-7 in the final.

After three rounds, the Blacks Ferns extend their lead on the  HSBC Women’s 7s World series points table.

They now lead with 56 points while Australia is in second place with 50 points and USA is third with 48 points.
