Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach, Gareth Baber says players should take responsibility for their actions on the field and yellow card offences are a worrying concern for Fiji.
Baber says discipline was their downfall in both tournaments and it was shown in their performance and players have been told to step up their game.
He says he is not happy with their performance since they have capable players who could have put in a better performance.
Baber also says he sees that three of the twelve yellow card offences were not warranted and he has taken this up with World Rugby.
The Fiji Men’s 7s Team finished in 6th place with 23 points on the HSBC World Sevens Series standings after the Dubai and Cape Town 7s.
Fiji’s next tournament is the Hamilton 7s which will be held from the 25th to the 26th of next month.
