Fijian Weightlifter, Timothy Vakuruivalu came in 4th place in the 89kg category in the International Weightlifting Federation 2019 Weightlifting World Cup that was held in Tianjin, China.
Vakuruivalu also received USD$800.00 for coming in 4th place at this tournament.
Fiji Weightlifting Federation says they would like to thank the Chinese Weightlifting Association and Fiji National Sports Commission for their support in making the trip possible.
Vakuruivalu will take a few days off before joining his fellow National Reps for their training sessions through Christmas and the New Year period in their preparations for the upcoming Oceania Weightlifting Championships in Nauru in April next year and other international Competitions which is expected to begin in February next year.
