Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says by showing genuine care and kindness towards everyone and helping those in need without discriminating this festive season, we can build a better and safer Fiji.

In his Christmas message, Bainimarama says people should strive to do the right thing in everything they do all the time and not only when someone is watching.

He says Fiji is becoming a digital society now however we cannot afford to leave our morality in this physical world.

Bainimarama says when posting anything online this season people should maintain the kindness, demonstrate decency and lead with example to the children of Fiji.

He also shared a thought of condolence to the Samoan families who have lost their loved ones to measles this year.

The Prime Minister says Fiji has a nationwide measles mass vaccination campaign and he is urging all Fijians to get their children who are between the age of 6 months and 5 years old to vaccinated by today.

He has reminded all Fijians that there is no blessing richer than the love of friends and families this season and it should be cherished by people.

Bainimarama has also extended his greetings to all members of the disciplinary forces who are away from their loved ones serving overseas this Christmas.
