Drunk driving and speeding remains a major concern on our roads as Police continue their traffic operations.

Four more drivers have been taken into custody in the past 24 hours for drunk driving in the western division.

They also issued 365 Traffic Infringement Notices in the past 24 hours.

123 drivers were issued Traffic Infringement Notices for speeding. 

Drivers were also booked for careless driving,  excess passengers, not producing or driving without a license and mobile communication.

Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra says there is zero tolerance on drunk driving, speeding and bad driving behaviour.

He says their operation will continue till the 10th of this month.

SSP Mishra has also thanked the people for their support and assistance to Police.
