The National Disaster Management Office is now ready to deploy their teams to maritime areas following the devastation by Tropical Cyclone Sarai.
It says they have received a damage assessment report from Kadavu and a team will be leaving for Kadavu tomorrow.
Director, Vasiti Soko says they have reports of damage assessment from all four divisions, where some houses were badly damaged.
She says farms, as well as health and education facilities have also have been damaged.
Soko says their main focus is the deployment of teams to the Eastern Division, mainly Kadavu and Southern Lau.
Meanwhile, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Disaster Management, Jone Usamate is urging all response teams to fast track their recovery plan before school begins this year.
