The Ministry of Education has topped up the subsidised student eTransport cards, which are now eligible for redemption ahead of the start of school for Term 1.

The Ministry says students can access these funds using the “redeem” function on any eTicketing machines installed on buses, or by visiting any Vodafone/Valuefone outlet and Mr Mobile outlets or District Education Offices.

It says students can also use the new e-ticketing KIOSK machines at the Suva, Nausori and Nadi bus stands.

All cards will be open for redemption from 8th of this month.

The Ministry says to ensure a smooth process, parents and students are urged to redeem these cards well in advance of the start of Term 1 on the 13th of this month.
