Urgent repairs will be carried out on a collapsed sewer trunk along Ratu Mara Road in Nabua at 5am tomorrow by the Water Authority of Fiji.

CEO Barry Omundson says they are working closely with the Fiji Roads Authority to rectify the issue as soon as possible urging motorists to be mindful of this section of the road along Ratu Mara Road in Nabua as one of the two lanes will be temporarily closed to allow urgent repairs.

He says works to backfill the excavation will commence as soon as possible, before the beginning of the school term, if weather permits.

They also request the travelling public be mindful of the workers who will be working in the area.
