Former 7s coach, Ben Ryan says with the depth of players in the Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team, Fiji can make a comeback this week in the Sydney 7s.
Ryan posted on his Facebook page, that set pieces and phase rugby which were not seen last week is fixable for the Fiji team and improvements can be seen this week.
He says that one strength this week for Fiji will be the huge support which will turn up to support the team which will boost players’ morale in the tournament.
Fiji 7s Coach, Gareth Baber had stated that they will be evaluating their game and will be a much more improved team this week.
Fiji kicks-off their Sydney 7s campaign against Kenya at 3.09pm Saturday, they then play New Zealand at 9.33pm Saturday and play Wales at 2.19pm Sunday in their last pool.
The semi-finals start at 5.20pm Sunday while the final will be played at 9.56pm Sunday.
