Fuel company, Total Fiji has donated 40 sets of school road safety equipment packs worth $25,000 to the Land Transport Authority today.

These items include cones, reflective shirts and other school patrol equipment which will be distributed by the LTA to schools upon their requests.

While speaking at the handover ceremony, Managing Director of Total Fiji, Kazi Rahman says Total Fiji remains fully committed towards this initiative and will continue to work together with LTA to make roads in Fiji safer for the citizens.

This is the fourth year, Total Fiji has donated school road safety equipment to the Land Transport Authority and 250 schools have benefited from the equipment.

LTA’s Acting General Manager Technical Operations, Makitalena Drova has thanked Total Fiji for its continuous support towards the road safety of children who are the most vulnerable on the roads.
