A 43-year-old motorcyclist who was admitted in the CWM Hospital has passed away.

It is alleged that the motorbike he was travelling on collided with a vehicle near the traffic lights at the junction of Grantham and Laucala Bay Road last Wednesday.

Police say it is alleged the driver of the vehicle made a right turn at the junction when it was a red light and in the process hit the victim who was on his way to the ANZ Stadium.
