The Fiji Football Association will not stage any major soccer tournaments in Labasa for a few more years.
Soccer fans in Labasa were hoping to have one tournament next year after Labasa won the National Soccer League title this season.
Fiji FA president Doctor Shamsud Dean Sahu Khan said because of the cost factor, they are not able to have a tournament in the northern division.
Fiji FA executives will meet next month to decide the venues for major soccer tournaments in 2008.
