The Health Ministry is working with the World Health Organization and their counter parts in Australia to produce a vaccine.
Director for Communicable Disease Doctor Eric Rafai said that what the public needs to understand that the virus is just like the common flu and they are continuing with their testing but on a smaller scale.
Doctor Rafai said at the moment there are close to three Flu strains in Fiji and they are closely monitoring the situation.
So far over 90 cases have been recorded in the country.
