Nadi Police are looking for unknown suspects who broke into an office between Friday and Saturday and stole more than $10,000 in cash and other office equipments to a total value of $32,000.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said it is believed that the unknown robbers must have broken into Sharma Industrial Company after 5pm on Friday afternoon and 8am Saturday morning.
Sergeant Suliano said the alarm was raised when the office was opened yesterday and a safe containing FJ$10,400, US$600 and AUS$500, three laptops, mobile phone, digital camera and other officer equipment were missing.
Police are urging for more information on the robbery and has also asked the public to be alert if anyone is found buying the stolen items or trying to change the overseas currency to Fijian dollars.
Investigations continue.
