Three hundred church ministers from various denominations are expected to be part of a church conference in Labasa next Wednesday organized by the Fiji Police Force.
Police spokesperson North Constable Mika Cabelawa confirmed the three day conference is part of the community policing to fight crime.
Cabelawa said a total of $17,000 budget taken from the Community policing allocation will fund the conference which will see members of the community working closely with the Police in the North.
Church leaders who are invited includes the Catholic Church of Fiji, Methodist Church, AOG, World Harvest, All Nation and others.
Also will be present is the Commander of Police Commodore Esala Teleni.
