The Nasinu soccer team is the first team to bow out of the 2009 INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants after they were beaten by the capital side Suva, by 2 goals to nil, although they still have a game in hand against Nadi tomorrow.
This was Nasinu's third game of the tournament and they lost out to Ba by 4 goals to nil last week and drew with Labasa 1-all last night.
Krishna Sami scored Suva's first goal in the 19th minute of the first half and Manoa Seru scored the second goal in the 27th minute of the second half.
This is Suva's first win in the BOG, after coming out of a draw to Labasa 1-all last week and will meet Ba in their second match later this evening.
In other games today, currently underway is the game between Navua and Nadroga, a commentary of the match can be heard on our sister station Radio Sargam, at 5pm Tavua meet Rewa, at 6:15pm Labasa meets Nadi, at 7:30pm Suva take on defending champions Ba and the last game at 8:45pm, hosts Lautoka meet Nadroga.
