Queen Victoria School (QVS) has defended their title at the Tailevu Zone competition today after bagging in more than 20 gold medals while neighbours Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) settled for 17 gold medals.
Only seven schools took part in this zone meet, including Queen Victoria School, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Saint Vincent College, Tailevu North High School, Wainibuka Secondary and Naiyala Secondary School.
Looking at the overall medal tally, QVS came first with 24 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze, RKS took second place with 17 gold, 25 silver and 13 bronze while Natovi Secondary came in third place with 4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
In the girl’s division, Tailevu North won first place with 14 gold, 9 silver and 11 bronze, Saint Vincent came in second place with 9 gold, 11 silver and 6 bronze and Wainibuka Secondary settled in third place with 6 gold 9 silver and 6 bronze.
