The Army players who shinned during the Flying Fijians trials will continue to be monitored by the coaching staff.
Head coach Samu Domoni Jnr said that Fiji Sevens captain Dale Tonawai, Nikola Matawalu, Leone Nakarawa and Rugby World Cup 2007 prop Alefoso Yalayalatabua, who were among the notable players omitted from the squad, have been told to continue training as the FRU awaits word from the IRB regarding talks with the NZ government on travel sanctions imposed on players in the military.
35 out of the 43 member squad that was announced on Saturday will march into camp at Tanoa Plaza tomorrow to prepare for the PNC.
Fiji takes on Samoa in the PNC on the 2nd of next month.
