32 lives have been lost as a result of drowning in the first 10 months of this year.
In a latest case according to Police spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri, a 39-year-old woman of Kubuna Village in Savusavu drowned while fishing yesterday.
A 22-year-old woman discovered her body floating in the sea around 11am yesterday.
Sokomuri said people should be careful while going out to the sea.
