Two separate fires last night and early this morning have left two families homeless.
A fire occurred in Kalekana, Lami, around 6.30 this morning.
Firefighters are still at the scene and more details are expected to be released later today.
In another fire incident, a two bedroom house was destroyed in Cunningham yesterday.
The fire started after 7pm when the owners and their six children were in the sitting room however they managed to escape without any injuries.
The National Fire Authority and Police are working together to ascertain the cause of the fire which destroyed the corrugated iron and wooden structure house.
