Police are investigating the stoning of some houses in Tovata on Thursday night.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said they have received a complaint from a resident.
As of last night police have begun patrolling the area.
Some residents told Fijivillage that they are scared following the incident.
Eyewitnesses say a group of youth under the influence of liquor allegedly threw a number of stones at these houses.
The stoning of homes caused damages to the window of one of the houses and many stones also ended up in the houses.
