Nadi Taxi Union disagrees with the way general secretary of the Fiji Taxi Association Rishi Ram was asked to resign yesterday.
Nadi Association president Mohammed Hafiz said there are procedures that need to be followed before any decision is made.
Hafiz said he does not support the comments made by Rishi Ram also saying complaints should be dealt with by the police and LTA.
Hafiz said taxi driver are there to provide good services to the people.
Fiji Taxi Association Vincent Singh said Rishi Ram decided to step down after discussing the issues with the executive.
