The Public Service Commission has received requests from Pacific Island countries for volunteers under the Fiji Volunteer Service Scheme.
Permanent Secretary Parmesh Chand said teacher request from Nauru, Kiribati and Vanuatu are currently being processing for the beginning of the new school year in February.
In the 2013 Budget the Fiji Volunteer Service Scheme is being allocated $400,000.
