Wallabies and Reds scrumhalf Will Genia will make his comeback against the Western Force.
The 25-year-old has been sidelined for the last six months after injuring his knee during Australia’s Rugby Championship clash against South Africa.
Genia, who will skipper the Reds, is expected to play just 40 minutes at Suncorp Stadium as coach Ewen McKenzie eases his star man back into the fold.
The Reds and Force match kicks off this Saturday at 8.40pm.
News just to hand - Rugby star Zac Guildford is expected to be welcomed back into the Crusaders.
Meanwhile on Friday at 6.35pm, the Highlanders play the Hurricanes while the Waratahs take on the Cheetahs at 8.20pm.
