A former police officer has been granted a $1000 bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.
39 year old Amani Bosenawai of Nasinu is a former officer of the Strike Back Team.
He is charged with robbery with a total value of $87,000 of cash and cheques on the 17th of June outside the Nabua Westpac branch.
Magistrate Alipate Mataitini told him to stay in Naluwai, Natisiri during the case.
He has to report to the Vunidawa police station every day.
The matter has been transferred to the High Court which will be called again on the 12th of next month.
