A newly built health center worth $190,000 will be opened next month in Lautoka.
Health Minister Dr Neil Sharma said they are focusing on Lautoka this year and the new health center near Kamikamica park is ready.
Sharma said the building of new health centers will make patient access and health care a lot easier.
Meanwhile, the commissioner western commander Joeli Cawaki said construction on the 1.2 million dollar Cuvu health center project in Sigatoka has already started.
Cawaki said the contract is given to public works and by the end of this year the health center will be completed.
