Five years ago Roy Krishna started to question whether he was good enough.
Krishna told stuff.com that he thought ‘maybe he is not good enough’ but he is happy after signing with the Wellington Phoenix.
Krishna said he was spending holidays with family here at home when he received a call from his manager informing him that the Phoenix wants to sign him.
The national soccer striker scored 72 goals in 103 games for his former club Waitakere United.
The 26-year-old is unlikely to feature in Sunday’s home game against Central Coast but when he does take the field, he will become the first Fijian to play in the A-League.
