The final decision on the Digicel Fiji 7s coaching staff will be made next Monday.
Fiji Rugby Union’s Interim Chairman Rafaele Kasibulu and FRU board member and Games Committee representative Waisake Radrodro have finished their meetings with Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula, his assistant Josateki Savou, captain Dale Tonawai and manager Talemo Waqa.
Kasibulu said they need to give their recommendation to the board members before they make a decision but the picture is clear that they have taken on board the report from the coaching staff and the captain that some senior players failed to listen to their instructions.
He added that changes in the team will be made for the next tournament in England and Scotland.
Tonawai also told Fijivillage after the meeting that people should accept the recent results and move on.
