A family of four which consists of 2 adults and 2 children are currently trapped in their house following a landslide in Tukaraki Village, Yakete, Ba.
Authorities said given the geographical location and current conditions, it is impossible to deploy a rescue team to the site.
A request has now been made to the next village which is Nanuku to help in the rescue effort.
The nurse from the nearest nursing station has also been requested to provide medical assistance.
