Vodafone Fiji 7s team play maker Jerry Tuwai was again in devastating form as he scored two tries to help Fiji beat Wales 31-17 in the cup quarter finals of the Dubai 7s tournament.
Tuwai scored his first try right from kick off showing nice footwork to beat three Welsh defenders and in his second try he mesmerizes the defense scoring underneath the post.
Fiji’s other tries came from lanky Semi Kunatani, Apisalome Waqatabu and Savenaca Rawaca.
Fiji led 24-0 at halftime as the rattled Wales in attack as well as dominating majority of the possession.
However, the Osea Kolinisau captained side conceded three tries in the second half as Wales tried to make a comeback into the match.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will take on Australia at 1.55am while the Cup final kicks off at 3.42am.
