Six people charged with the alleged unlawful cultivation of dangerous drugs have been remanded by the Labasa Magistrates Court this afternoon.
Four accused have been remanded at the Vaturekuka Prison to appear in court next Monday while two others are still remanded in police custody and will re-appear tomorrow.
Another suspect is still at the Savusavu Police station and is expected to appear in the Labasa Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The seven were arrested following a number of raids during Operation Sasamaki in the Northern Division over the last few days.
