A 27‑year‑old man is being questioned by Police after he allegedly raped a 21‑year‑old woman.

Police say the two met on facebook on new year’s eve and exchanged contacts online and agreed to meet last Saturday.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says they went to a secluded area where the woman claims that she was allegedly raped twice.

The man is currently being questioned at the Nakasi Police Station.
