37-year-old Sailosi Baleisuva Mara who has been charged in relation to a hit and run case in Laucala Beach has been released on $800 cash bail by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

He is charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death and one count of failure to comply with requirements after an accident.

The matter has been adjourned to the 27th this month.

A 22‑year‑old man died in this accident.
