A 22-year-old man convicted of murder has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Suva High Court today.

Justice Salesi Temo sentenced Livai Ratabua to 15 years imprisonment.

The incident happened in January 2013 in Lautoka after a drinking session.

Ratabua repeatedly kicked Maciu Bakani's head which resulted in his death.
