It will be an emotional Christmas for the children of Dilkusha Home in Nausori as it will be their last Christmas with two young boys who will be leaving them soon.

The Superintendent of the Dilkusha Home, Sister Ignes Leba says they will have to let go two of her young boys who will join the Veilomani Boys Home in Ba next year.

Leba says they are awaiting the transfer confirmation from the Social Welfare Department and the sense of missing the two boys is already being felt at the Home.

Meanwhile, the children at Dilkusha Home will today unwrap their much awaited Christmas presents which were donated by various organisations.

Sister Leba says they have been thrilled with the gifts that they have received during the season and are pleased with the Christmas cards that were left at their doorsteps early this morning.

She adds that the message from the children at the Home is for Christians to accept Jesus back into their lives through individual spiritual devotion and to share the Joy of Christmas through love and kindness for all.

Dilkusha Home currently has 42 children.

The children attended a service this morning and are expected to go for sightseeing later today.
