A 28-year-old man charged with a count each of operating without real estate agent licence and obtaining financial advantage by deception has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Rahul Chand is alleged to have acted as a real estate agent and dishonestly obtained $2,500 from a person between 28th January 2016 and 15th April 2016.

Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage has granted Chand bail in the sum of $1,500.

The case has been adjourned to 12th January for plea.
