A man charged with assault causing actual bodily harm will be sentenced this afternoon.
Jale Kasakilau has admitted to punching a woman after she sent her friend home from the clubs when he tried to approach her.
The court heard that the 27-year-old was at Dezi Night Club and tried to approach the victim’s friend after which the victim sent her friend home.
It was further revealed that Kasakilau saw the victim outside the club and started beating her up.
The incident occurred on the 13th of this month.
Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara will be sentencing him at 2pm.
