The Ministry of Public Enterprises says there has been an improvement with compliance with state-owned enterprises.
While appearing before the Public Accounts Committee, Permanent Secretary for Public Enterprises Jitendra Singh says most state-owned enterprises have not been submitting the required documents for monitoring but there has been an improvement since 2015.
He says in 2015, there were only six compliant enterprises at a compliance rate of 29%.
Singh says there were 14 compliant enterprises in 2016 and 17 compliant last year.
