Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama on behalf of all Fijians has extended warm and sincere congratulations to the people of the Commonwealth of Australia on the celebration of Australia's National Day.
In the message also addressed to Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull, Bainimarama says it has been very fulfilling to witness the bilateral relationship between Fiji and Australia ascend to greater heights with increased engagement and collaboration at all levels.
He has also acknowledged Australia's recognition of Fiji's economic potential and its capacity to serve as a regional hub and he is confident that the level of engagement that our two countries share in the areas of business, tourism, security and humanitarian and disaster response will continue to grow as a result of this renewed commitment.
He has also thanked Australia’s support during Fiji’s COP23 Presidency.
