Police Special Constable to appear in court for alleged assault on another officer

A special constable will be appearing in the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon, for allegedly assaulting another police officer.

The incident occurred over the weekend in Navua.

It is alleged that the Special Constable was drunk during the time of the offence.
