The Fiji Roads Authority will be constructing 84 new bus shelters around the country within the next seven months.

This is to ensure that bus commuters have better accessibility and comfort.

These new bus shelters will have a category 4 cyclone certification.

FRA states that priority will be given to bus shelters that are in front of schools and health centers.

Two local contractors have been engaged in this project.

FRA has also urged the public to look out for these assets and report any act of vandalism to the Fiji Police Force.
