Businesses will now be able to better prepare for Natural Disasters with the launch of the Business Continuity Planning for Private Enterprise in partnership with the Fiji Business Disaster Resilience Council.

While speaking at the opening of the Business Continuity Planning training the trainers this morning, U.S Ambassador to Fiji Judith Cefkin says that businesses are drivers of the economy and must be well versed with climate readiness and disaster recovery planning.

She also highlighted that the 2-day training will also teach participants about government services and disaster management plans.

Cefkin adds that these measures not only help businesses better prepare for disasters but also position them to effectively contribute to recovery efforts.

Meanwhile, the first Business Continuity Planning training will continue to be held in 13 other locations in Fiji.
